There are also concessions for the purchase of vacant land and the maximum concession is $2,400 where the purchase price of the vacant land is 175k or less. Again after this point there are no concessions available |
How do I apply for the first home owners grant?
The most common way to apply for the first home owners grant is through the lender you have chosen.
This way the funds from the grant are made available on the day of settlement.
The other two ways in which you can apply for the grant is either through the state government or your solicitor/conveyancer although this would mean that the funds from the grant are provided to you up to three after settlement.
