What is Debtor Finance?

Debtor finance is specifically designed for business operators and is generally a short term loan.

The finance companies which provide debtor finance simply require invoices for future dated debtor transactions and based on the strength of trading history between the two parties will provide debtor finance up to a specified amount (% value) according to the debtor finance credit criteria that lender has in place.

Debtor Finance for Container/Import SME’s

If you are an importer or rely on importation for your core business then this debtor finance product may just suit your needs.

Traditionally this type of debtor finance was reserved for the larger corporate companies but has now been made available to the SME space.

Container finance is offered to business’ which have been credit approved up to a maximum of $200,000 per container, how it works is simple. 

When payment is due for the container the client requests a drawdown of funds for that particular container and the funds are deposited directly into the clients account.

Once the goods are delivered to customers the client begins repaying the drawdown in stages through a debtor finance facility.

Importation is a growing market within Australian industry and this product has been able to fill a void where small to medium enterprises were previously unable to obtain this type of debtor finance.
